We will happily help you with directions. We are an easy 2.5 hour car or bus ride from Barcelona!

Buses are modern and very comfortable.
In France, trains are subject to strikes, so this can be iffy.
We suggest the FlixBus or, better yet, rent a car at a very, very reasonable rate in Barcelona for a lovely drive to Vernet les Bains! Stop along the way for a Spanish lunch!
Arriving from the US
- Fly into Barcelona.
- Rent a car at the airport and take a scenic 2 1/2 hour route to Vernet les Bains
- OR take a comfortable, reliable FlixBus from Barcelona to Perpignan, where we can pick you up if you miss the direct bus to Vernet les Bains. We can help you with the schedule.
Arriving from the UK
Fly from London Stansted or Manchester or East Midlands airports into the Carcassone airport, then rent a car or take the FlixBus to Perpignan and from there see instructions above.
We have a number of shared occupancy accommodations. Notify us when registering and we can discuss your options.
With its bright blue skies and over 300 days a year of sunshine, Vernet is sheltered from harsh weather by the majestic Canigou mountains.
Warm season starts in early May and continues into late September. October can be temperate with temperatures in the 70s. Sunny skies in November and December often mean T shirt and cotton sweater days. Summer temperatures can range in the high 80s.
Pack Light and Casual: Jeans, cotton/linen pants and easy dresses, light down jacket for cooler evenings, sun hat, sneakers or comfortable shoes with rubber soles since Vernet has some steep cobblestone streets.
Since there are few select accommodations in the area and they book quickly, we ask that you respect our cancellation policy. Please see Terms and Conditions for details.
There is a $200 non refundable Registration fee.
- 120 – 90 Days Advance Notice – Tuition Refund in full
- 89 – 61 days – Tuition Refund minus a cancellation fee of $100.
- 60 Days – Tuiiton Refund minus a $300 cancellation fee.
- Under 60 Days - No refund
- In the event of Covid travel restrictions we will hapily give you a "rain check" on participation.
